Indoor Garden Design have a high degree of experience and expertise in specifying and supplying plants and containers for Atria spaces. We have supplied specimen trees, including most Ficus varieties, Palms, Dracaenas, Podocarpus, Bamboo and Olive up to 10m in height to many prestigious and, often, complex projects, including high-level Atria.
We can provide solutions for seemingly impossible situations and work closely with client and architect to choose the right tree for the space. We have developed excellent relationships with nurseries in Holland, Belgium, the USA and Italy, and can arrange visits to view large specimens in Europe and America.

KPMG - HQ

A new 14-storey building in London's financial district of Canary Wharf, incorporating four 'cassette' atria that act as Breakout and informal Meeting Zones, plus four smaller 'pocket' Atria with the same remit.

The Client was looking for matching trees to 'bring the outdoors in' with 5No displays on each of Levels 2, 5, 8 and 11. The trees also helped to create some shading. Premium quality bespoke containers were designed by IGD, they had lighting and were on wheels, allowing the flexibility to move the trees as required.

Sarah Bonnell School

To introduce planting as a calming influence into a newly re-designed school to encourage a suitable learning environment and to cultivate students' interest in horticulture. The Client wanted to integrate container with seating that would act as a focal point for students to use.

Other planting was used to break up large circulation spaces with the aim of creating a calming environment for students. The installation was carried out in conjunction with an exterior scheme, including 'pocket' allotments for students to maintain themselves.

BUPA – Willow House, Staines

Being a Health company BUPA wanted to reflect that image with large plant displays in their offices. The project was Client-led. They wanted a dramatic display in their entrance Coffee Area, which would make a striking display for any guests that visit the site.

BBC

A simple but extremely effective contemporary planting scheme, with an organic feel, set in three adjoining Atria at the BBC Media Village in White City. Each of the species are themed: the first planted with Cacti and Sansevieria en-masse, the next with Pepperomia and the third with grasses - all planted in bespoke “trollies”, made of galvanised aluminium with wheels, to give flexibility of creating different designs and layouts.
